Brashear is
a crater located on the invisible side of th e Moon from Earth, in the southern hemisphere near the south pole . It is located south of the crater Antoniadi. To the south east coast of the adjacent crater Antoniadi Numerov crater, and southe ast of the crater is younger De Forest. This formation is more than a shallow depression on the lunar surface. Northern Edge was destroyed by the dust raised during the formation of the crater Antoniadi.
